DAAS Foundation Sponsors NOP Scholar
DAAS foundation provides educational support to the families effected by terrorism in Pakistan irrespective of race, religion and caste. It was founded in 2017 to continue the mission set forth by Dr. Abad Ali Shah and provide education to all, regardless of circumstances. DAAS foundation believes that everyone, despite external factors, should have equal opportunity to attain higher education and has collaborated with ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ to sponsor a scholar from our National Outreach Programme (NOP).
The ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ National Outreach Programme was launched in 2001 to extend the benefits of world-class education to talented students all over Pakistan and thereby become a truly national university. This prestigious scholarship focuses on identifying bright students with exceptional Matriculation and FA/FSc results and inducting them into the ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ undergraduate programmes. The students who qualify as NOP scholars are given full financial assistance. To date, ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ has inducted approximately 1200 NOP scholars, out of which around 711 have graduated and are out in the world pursuing their dreams and helping their families and communities. The objective of the NOP scholarship resonates with that of DAAS Foundation —to provide quality education to the underprivileged.
