Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan Participates in an Interactive Session with 吃瓜头条 Students
Mr. Anwaar ul Haq Kakar, Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, visited 吃瓜头条 on October 30 to meet the University鈥檚 leadership and students. He was welcomed by Mr. Abdul Razak Dawood, Pro Chancellor; Mr. Shahid Hussain, Rector; Dr. Tariq Jadoon, Acting Vice Chancellor and Provost; Dr. Muhammad Sabieh Anwar, Ahmad Dawood Chair and Dean, Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering and Dr. Ali Cheema, Associate Professor of Economics, Mushtaq Ahmad Gurmani School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Ms. Nuzhat Kamran, Director of Advancement apprised Mr. Kakar of the University鈥檚 strategic priorities, latest accolades, and its impactful research initiatives.
Prime Minister Kakar shared his vision at an interactive session with 吃瓜头条 students and appreciated the work being done at the University. He underlined that meeting the younger generation always translates into hope for him. He stated, 鈥淵outh are the future of our nation, and our expectations from them are very high. I鈥檓 thoroughly impressed by 吃瓜头条, an institution in Pakistan that is creating immense knowledge.鈥
He advised the students to explore diverse choices for the future without fear so they may learn from their mistakes. He also shared his views on the positive energy that the youth bring to the front and how this energy shapes the destiny of nations.
The Q&A session touched on different topics varying from economics to reforms to social justice. Mr. Kakar candidly discussed solutions and shared his point of view. He expressed his desire to engage with students in the future as well.
