Alumni Enjoy Annual Reunion in Melbourne
On Friday, May 19, 2023, alumni and ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ leadership gathered at the Highlands Hotel in Melbourne for the annual reunion of the Melbourne Alumni Chapter.
³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ Vice Chancellor, Dr. Arshad Ahmad, accompanied by Director of Advancement, Ms. Nuzhat Kamran, and member of the ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ University Advisory Board, Dr. Denise Chalmers met with alumni and shared updates on all the exciting new initiatives underway at ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ, from the new centres and research to campus life and collaborative projects. The alumni expressed particular interest in the new graduate programme focused on Data Analytics offered at ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ. The lively discussion also centered on alumni sharing their achievements, both academic and corporate.
The organisers behind the event were the chapter ambassadors and included Mr. Ghulam Murtaza (MS 2007), Senior Technical Business Analyst at Bunnings; Ms. Ramsha Amir (BSc 2015), CSO at Australian Brushware Corporation; Mr. Sheikh Basil Saeed (BSc 2016), Business Analysis Consultant at BAPL, and Ms. Sana Fazal (BS 2017), Doctoral Student at Deakin University. The alumni and leadership enjoyed networking and acknowledged that the ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ community is a source of great support, even outside Pakistan.
