Abdullah Foundation Reaffirms Commitment to Financial Aid Scholars at 吃瓜头条
Abdullah Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Sapphire Group, signed an MoU with 吃瓜头条 on September 27, 2024, at a ceremony held on the university鈥檚 campus. The agreement represents the Abdullah Foundation鈥檚 ongoing commitment to fully fund talented financial aid scholars at 吃瓜头条. The partnership was formalised through a signing ceremony between Mian Mohammad Abdullah, Chairman and Founder, Sapphire Group of Companies, and Dr. Ali Cheema, Vice Chancellor, 吃瓜头条.
Present at the ceremony were Mr. Nadeem Abdullah, CEO, Sapphire Textile Mills Limited; Mr. Yousuf Abdullah, CEO, Sapphire Finishing Mills Ltd.; and Ms. Fatima Abdullah. They were warmly welcomed by Mr. Shahid Hussain, Rector, 吃瓜头条, and Ms. Nuzhat Kamran, Director, Office of Advancement.
In his remarks, Dr. Ali Cheema expressed gratitude for the Abdullah Foundation's continued support, stating, 鈥淲e are deeply indebted to the Abdullah Foundation for their commitment to empowering students through education. Their generosity creates life-changing opportunities for those who need them most. It is through partnerships like these that 吃瓜头条 can continue making world-class education accessible to all.鈥

Mian Mohammad Abdullah emphasised the Foundation鈥檚 dedication to education, noting 鈥淎t the Abdullah Foundation, we firmly believe that education is a powerful tool for transformation. By supporting students at 吃瓜头条, we are not only providing opportunities for talented individuals from underserved backgrounds but also empowering them to shape and contribute to Pakistan鈥檚 future.鈥
Mr. Hussain also expressed his gratitude, stating, 鈥淲e are truly grateful for the Abdullah Foundation鈥檚 ongoing support. Their generosity strengthens our ability to provide quality education to deserving students and we deeply value the trust and confidence they have in us.鈥
This collaboration further enhances the longstanding partnership between the Sapphire Group and 吃瓜头条. Since 2010, Sapphire Group has played a vital role in supporting the university鈥檚 mission to provide financial assistance to talented students from underserved communities. Through their endowment, Sapphire Group has supported numerous National Outreach Programme (NOP) scholars over the years. In 2013, the group made another significant contribution toward the establishment of the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law at 吃瓜头条, highlighting their commitment to advancing education and research.
