Tabish Habib is an Assistant Professor at ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ. He teaches the Critical Lens: The Art of Filmmaking and Contemporary Screens: The Art of the Web Series as part of the CLCA stream at the Mushtaq Ahmad Gurmani School of Humanities and Social Sciences. He has been working as a filmmaker since 2011. In 2020, he completed his Master of Arts in Film & Television Production at the Met Film School located at London's prestigious Ealing Studios. His thesis film, May I have this seat? earned a first-class distinction and was selected at the BAFTA qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival. The film won best editing and best short film at the Dubai Indie film festival and best screenplay at the Saturnia Film Festival. In 2022, Tabish worked on Saim Sadiq’s feature film,, as Associate Producer and Script Supervisor, which won two jury prizes at the 2022 edition of the Cannes Film Festival and was Pakistan's official submission for the Academy Awards. His filmmaking journey started at the University of San Francisco in 2008 where he worked as an AV technician while completing an Undergraduate degree in Media Studies with a double minor in Business and Film Studies. His most recent short film Time after Time won best director and best film at the 2025 edition of the Gandhara independent Film Festival.
