Dr. Humayun is Assistant Professor at the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law. She has a PhD in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh. Her areas of academic interest are literature and the law, interdisciplinary humanities, modernism, and cultural criticism. At ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ, she teaches courses that explore the intersection of legal theory and literature. Her research interests pivot around the same themes, with a special ongoing interest in sovereignty, populism and cultural politics.
Before joining ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ, Dr. Humayun was Assistant Professor and co-director of the Arzu Program in Languages and Literature at Habib University in Karachi, as well as an Assistant Professor of English Literature at the University of Punjab in Lahore.
